David and his family have lived in Aspinwall for 31 years. He has long been politically
active. In 2016, David founded and led “Priority Aspinwall,” the citizens’ group that
successfully opposed giving R47 an access road to Freeport Road at Eastern Avenue. Between 2018 and 2022, he served as a member of Aspinwall’s Council. During his 4-year term in office, David introduced and helped enact a law re-establishing Aspinwall’s Shade Tree Commission. He also sponsored a law banning the use of coal tar, a toxic substance, on roads and driveways in our community. As many of you know, in 2021, David ran for mayor and lost by a narrow margin.

An ardent believer in good government, David believes that elected officials have a duty to work hard on behalf of their constituents. With your support and your vote on May 16 and November 7, 2023, David hopes to resume working on behalf of Aspinwall’s residents beginning in January 2024.

If elected, I promise to do the following on behalf of Aspinwall’s residents:

  • Respond promptly and thoughtfully to residents’ complaints, advice, and suggestions
  • Always work in the best interests of our community
  • Make prudent use of the taxpayers’ money
  • Be open to new ideas and new ways of solving problems
  • Enthusiastically support Aspinwall’s many citizen-volunteers
  • Work to make Aspinwall an even better place in which to live
